Very nice place This hotel is hidden jem in Watamu.Everything was so nice.Rooms was very big,food was very delicios,staff was,so friendly,special regards to my friend Daniel from restorant.The director mr.Renson was the person that make every stay unforgatable.He helped us for everything.The safary that he booked us was the best.I recommend this place to everyone

Long Awaited Return After a three year hiatus due to covid we returned to the tranquility of Mvuvi Villa’s. We expected some changes, Justin doesn’t stand still. First we’re the up graded rooms. Also, now 8 instead of 4. The shower in Mafia was cascading waterfall. Everywhere immaculately clean. New faces to be expected, but there was Alex tending the gardens and looking lovely. Chef Khahindi also doing his magic. Big thank you to Danial, talk about multi-tasking. Bar, restaurant pool Daniela commitment is a credit. Renson on the desk who keeps everything running smoothly is a credit to Mvuvi. Then there is Justin who welcomed us as family. He has added additions like sea fishing, sailing, body boarding. So plenty to do. We had a superb three days and are going to extend our stay in 2024. Oh, one other new face, Bear what a lovely friendly dog. Comes and says hello but won’t step into your room. Un piccolo angolo di paradiso Un posto che ti ruba il cuore.A pochissimi minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di Watamu, Mvuvi Lodge è la soluzione ideale per chi vuole viversi il Kenya in un'atmosfera di pace e tranquillità, lontano dai villaggi super turistici. Poche stanze, gradevoli, confortevoli e soprattutto pulite e risistemate ogni giorno. Personale impeccabile, sempre pronto a dare il meglio per farti vivere un'esperienza indimenticabile. In particolare Daniel, che ci ha coccolati per 7 giorni, sempre con il sorriso a parte quando ha saputo che stavamo per ripartire. Asante sana Daniel! Personale tutto super disponibile. La cucina è ottima dalla colazione alla cena e sono disponibili a qualsiasi richiesta. Insomma noi non possiamo che consigliare questo piccolo angolo di paradiso.

Great location, beautiful Lodge, Terrible food. When we arrived, we realized the location is really good and so is the Lodge! Its pretty, white, and blue with great aesthetics. The room was quite spacious, bathroom was beautiful. Overall a very nice clean place to stay. What I found really disappointing was the food. We had not opted for breakfast (think it was 10$ PP) so we decided to pay for breakfast and we instantly regretted it. I would have given this property 9/10 if I had not had that breakfast here. They gave us half a slice of bed topped with avocados and a single pancake with no syrup and it cost us almost 15$. Across the street is Hemingways, a luxury resort where I paid a little more than what I paid at Mvuvi and had a big hearty meal enjoying the view of the sea. I would recommend not eating here. The lodge is a short walk to the beach but the beach was not very nice at this time of the year, full of seaweeds but we did do a boat ride and a snorkel trip for which the starting point was quite close to the Lodge.

Bellissimo lodge, super consigliato! Abbiamo soggiornato presso il Mvuvi Lodge in agosto 2022 per un totale di 10 giorni.L'esperienza è stata super positiva, posto bellissimo e ben curato, si ha la sensazione di essere come a casa. Lo staff è gentile e molto disponibile. Il proprietario Justin, che parla un ottimo italiano, si prenderà cura delle vostre richieste così come i camerieri e in piu in generale tutti i collaboratrori.Ottimo cibo e abbastanza vario,da consumare a bordo psicina (sempre pulita).Le camere sono spaziose e pulite, abbiamo dormito serenamente.Il Lodge è posizionato a pochi minuti di tuk tuk da Watamu centro e si trova in un punto strategico per poter raggiungere tutti i principali luoghi di interesse.Veramente super consigliato....hakuna matata!!!!!

In tranquillo soggiorno Il Lodge è situato in posizione comoda, a poca distanza dal centro di Watamu e vicinissimo alla spiaggia. La camera era spaziosa e con un bel terrazzo; il segnale wifi buono fino in camera. La colazione a buffet accontenta sia chi preferisce il dolce che il salato. Il succo di frutta è magnifico, è di fatto preparato al momento con frutta esotica del posto.Abbiamo mangiato più volte al ristorante e ci è piaciuto. Lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile.

Lovely small hotel with everything you would require for the a great holiday, great pool, great bar, great food, A great venue perfect for people that require a small hotel with a personal service, great little bar offering all types of drinks, lovely pool is the focal point for the bar and eating area, great food locally caught Gish is always on the menu, friendly helpful staff in all areas

Mvuvi 10Weeks in What can I say, I’ve been visiting Watamu for 22 Years, always generally stay at Ocean Sports. They were booked for the first part of my extended stay so found myself a Mvuvi……. I liked it so much I stayed there the duration.I have 2 weeks left can’t praise all the Staff highly enough, Justin the Proprietor lovely down to Earth guy, spent some good days on the Ocean with him & Chai.Bar Staff very important superb …..Chelsea, Dan & Frances kept me topped up & cheerful.Food very good although Menu too big.Ocean Sports is a 3 minute walk so can easily go & watch the Boats come in & enjoy an evening tipple as you do.All the other Staff from Reception to Cleaners Superb never locked my room once !!!!!!I’ve booked for December again, not sure I can do/ afford 12 Weeks again.OVERALL 10/10 in difficult Times 👏👏👏👏
